I had the same nightmare experience with waterfurnace. Coils failing due to bad engineering.

They will never admit to any fault. Their "warranty" coverage is a total joke, allowing like $50 toward labor on a $300 bill. Now, soon after replacing the plastic water pan which is under the evap coil, the freon is leaking. The thin plastic pans always start leaking, repairman says, and the thing is designed in such a way that to replace that you have to tear up the whole thing.

The whole motivation for spending big bucks on this technology was savings on energy. But maintenance will eat up any energy savings MANY times over. I hindsight I would have gone with a conventional system. Things don't last as long anymore it seems, so when you figure ROI you have to add replacing the system every 8 years or so.

That really destroys any benefits from a ridiculously expensive geo system. Unless your motto is: "Economy at any price!"

Two years old waterfurnace 7 relay to emergency heat failed my cost(labor) was $500 minus $85 allowance from Waterfurnace. Was told by Waterfurnace that the warranty allowance is only for the parts replacement. They don't paid for anything else not even diagnostic time.
