We have had our unit for about 6 years and on the coldest or hottest day of the year, our system goes out. It is always the same valve and of course, they charge us every time they come out.
The part may be under warranty once in a while. I'm going to have to learn to change it myself and avoid the rip off companies that represent them. We fired one company and the next company said they found a problem in the way it was wired. Here it is 6 months later and it has gone out again.
You smell a burning smell and the system is blowing cold air. The one morning we woke and called the fire company and they helped us pin point the valve.
Now we know. The system saves us money on energy but looses big on repairs, over and over again.
Reason of review: Bad quality.
Monetary Loss: $4000.
Preferred solution: Let the company propose a solution.
Waterfurnace Pros: When it works.
Waterfurnace Cons: Constant breakdowns.
